Flexible humidity sensor based on light-scribed graphene oxide

Abstract The light scribe (LS) technique has been applied to reduce graphene oxide (LSGO) over a flexible substrate be used as humidity sensor. Graphene (GO) suspension was drop casted Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and then reduced inside conventional digital video disc (DVD). Interdigitated electrode precisely fabricated with dimensions of the finger length 450 μm width 20 μm. prepared material characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman spectroscopy. results confirm reduction process GO LS technique. Moreover, sensing properties LSGO evaluated. Results showed that present light-scribed sensor many advantages including rapid response, highly precise due technique, more importantly sensors can directly on substrates which are favorable for future wearable smart electronics.
